Job Description REF: #001: - Overseeing and/or conducting trial runs of programs and software applications to ensure they produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct; - Lead development of test plans, test scripts and test data in troubleshooting application problems; - Performance of regression testing of client applications; - Participation with other project resources to resolve defects; - Writing user guides with the application driver using TACTIC or client desktop training tool; and - Providing Quality Assurance Support to the client by: - Preparing QA plans and procedures; - Implementing quality improvement programs; - Recommending QA tools and techniques; - Using QA tools and techniques; - Using corrective action process; - Using QA measurement techniques; - Auditing procedures; - Creating and maintaining test case documentation; - Documenting/filtering/testing and pushing bug reports; and - Testing bug fixes before implementation. - Any other QA Specialist related tasks requested by the client.
