Description Overview: A key aspect of the coach’s role in implementing and developing the programme(s) is ensuring that the school embraces the mission of the International Baccalaureate and the learner profile. This involves ensuring that Franklin Academy is able to explicitly demonstrate how the structure of the programme(s) and implementation are furthering both the incorporation of the IB within the guidelines of the Florida Standards. Employment Schedule : 10 months, full-time Duties and Responsibilities: Essential functions of the position may include, but are not limited to, the following: Full-time IB Coach Compensation and Benefits Compensation: - Understands how students learn and provides learning opportunities that support intellectual, social, and personal development of diverse learners - Evaluates student progress and uses formal and informal assessment strategies to determine whether students have achieved high standards and modifies instructional strategies as needed to maximize achievement. - Manage all aspects of record keeping on IBIS (The IB online record keeping database) - Ensure teacher adherence to IB specific curriculum, assessments, due dates and best ins...
