Hiring unit: Department of Geography Course: GEOG 322 Environmental Hydrology - Fall 2026 (3 Credits) Job Description: Covering the course topics related to environmental hydrology at an introductory level. The topics covered the catchment concept, precipitation and snow processes, evapotranspiration, soil water hydrology, the runoff hydrograph and runoff processes, discharge processes including extremes (floods and droughts), and the hydrology of lakes, wetlands/peatlands, forested catchments and permafrost regions. The successful applicant would be responsible for four take-home assignments, a course precis (annotated bibliography) project, a midterm exam, and a final exam.
