You will assist the Port Operations Manager with the organization and coordination of Whittier Port services and related passenger service activities for the South-Central ports. Assists with the recruiting, hiring, supervision, performance management, discipline, and training of directly assigned personnel. You will coordinate Port Operations activities and collaborate with Anchorage Passenger Services & Luggage, Transportation, Logistics as well as Anchorage Rail Operations and all affiliated cruise staff, including Holland America Line & Seabourn, and Princess Cruises. Responsibilities: Requirements: This role requires two or more years of progressively responsible experience in transportation, port operations, or customer service operations. Previous supervisory experience in a business environment to effectively lead teams and support operational goals is preferred. Experience in managing employee relations, including performance management and discipline. Must have a current, valid Alaska state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
