Job Summary The Materials Clerk is responsible for both the physical distribution of supplies across the facility and the accurate allocation of inventory within the EHR system. Under the direction of the Materials Manager, this role oversees the daily receipt of goods and maintains accurate inventory records. Reports To: Materials Manager: Hourly Range: $18.50 - $28.95 ( hourly rate does not include overtime or bonuses which are not guaranteed ) Essential Job Functions: Inventory Management - Maintain hospital inventory levels across all departments. - Restock Omnicells in Pre-Op, PACU, ED, and PCU three times daily. - Monitor and manage PAR levels within Omnicells. - Assist with basic maintenance and troubleshooting of Omnicell systems. - Use restock lists to accurately allocate inventory expenses to departments within Cerner. - Resupply ancillary areas (Perioperative, Diagnostic Imaging, ED) twice weekly. - Ensure accurate labeling and PAR levels in all ancillary storage areas. - Communicate PAR level changes with department leaders and staff. - Replace empty medical gas cylinders with full tanks. - Coordinate vendor-issued product recalls and accurately document outcomes in the...
