Description Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Hematology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. The next Division Chief will lead one of the largest and most successful pediatric hematology programs in the nation and will be expected to participate in patient care, teaching, and scholarship. The Division of Pediatric Hematology is comprised of over 32 faculty and attending physicians with diverse clinical, educational, and investigative interests, as well as 23 post-doctoral research fellows, 18 pediatric hematology oncology fellows and over 100 staff members. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and APPs. The Division has responsibilities for training large numbers of medical students, residents, and fellows.
