Job description

SMX is seeking a Communications Program Systems Engineer to serve as the primary technical architect and synchronization lead for the PEO Tactical Information Systems (PEO-TIS) portfolio. As SOCOM invests in the deep integration of advanced waveforms into Programs of Record (POR), this role is critical in driving the evolution of Software Defined Radio (SDR) resilient waveforms. The PSE acts as a force multiplier, bridging efforts between PM Tactical Communications (PM TCC) and the greater SOF enterprise to modernize and harden C2 capabilities against near-peer electronic warfare threats. This position requires a DoD TS/SCI security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.
