WC/PIP Auto Coordinator

Description Position Summary: Coordinates all Worker’s Compensation/PIP Auto matters for the practice and physicians. Serves as a liaison between physicians and outside payors, case managers, adjustors, and employers to ensure timely care and submission of patient information. Key Responsibilities: - Promptly schedules worker's compensation & PIP patient appointments - Obtains authorizations for office visits, diagnostic testing, injections, physical therapy, occupational therapy, DME and surgery (when needed) and follow up on these authorizations to make sure they are approved/scheduled - Submits all required forms to the insurance adjuster in a timely manner - Facilitates all communications with insurance adjusters, employers, lawyers, and patients - Ensures the process following an injury runs smoothly - Follows up with adjusters and case managers on claims to assist patients - Liaisons with prospective employers - Responds promptly to voicemails, emails, and task - Arrange peer to peer calls between providers, adjuster and PreCert departments - Greeting and directing patients - Completing patient forms and explaining the next steps after patient appointments Shared Duties/Other...
