Position Title: School Safety Partner Salary Range: School Safety Partner (Grade 17, Exempt). Annual salary range: $102,888 – $128,610. This range reflects the minimum to midpoint of the grade. Salary may exceed the midpoint and will commensurate with experience. Job Description Summary: The School Safety Partner is responsible for serving as a regional leader and trusted resource supporting school safety planning, preparedness, and response across Region 5 school districts. This role builds strong partnerships with school leaders, law enforcement, emergency management, mental health providers, and state and national safety organizations to strengthen coordinated, effective school safety systems. The position provides training, technical assistance, and hands-on support to help districts develop and maintain high-quality emergency operations plans, conduct crisis drills, and implement safety technologies. The School Safety Partner also advances a whole-child approach to safety by integrating prevention, mental health supports, and positive school culture into safety planning.
