Job description

Overview Transport incoming and outgoing materials todesignated areas as assigned. Operateforklift, electrical hoist or other power driven equipment to load or movematerials. Supply production area withneeded materials from inventory. Load orunload material onto or from pallets, trays, or shelves. Process required paperwork using RF (RadioFrequency) system when/where available. Performs preventive maintenance such as: daily vehicle inspection,recharging batteries, or replacing liquefied propane gas (LP) tank Responsibilities: Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area. Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device. (Crane and /or lift truck) Compares identifying information and using scale and digital counter, weighs or counts materials or products and records weight on tags or labels, to verify information against bills of lading, packing slips, pick tickets, load tickets, shop work orders, and address labels.
