INTRODUCTION: The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department and Eversource Energy Center (EEC) at the University of Connecticut (UConn) solicit applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level. Strong applicants at the Assistant Professor level will also be considered. The position has an expected start date of August 23, 2026. The successful candidate will advance education and research in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department with a particular emphasis on power systems engineering or related specialties and lead EEC’s research programs in the area of grid modernization. Founded in 1881, UConn is a Land Grant and Sea Grant institution and member of the Space Grant Consortium. It is the state’s flagship institution of higher education and includes a main campus in Storrs, CT, four regional campuses throughout the state, and 13 Schools and Colleges, including a Law School in Hartford, and Medical and Dental Schools at the UConn Health campus in Farmington.
