Working as part of a cross-functional team, you translate complex technical challenges into computer simulations to promote rapid, high-quality innovation across our chocolate, biscuit, gum and candy categories. You identify, define and solve complex business problems by applying broad technical knowledge and your in-depth knowledge of your technical specialty. You work collaboratively with others on the team to meet the current and future strategic demands of the business. How you will contribute: - Plan, lead and manage modelling and simulation projects, working with other scientists to define complex ingredient chemistry challenges to be solved. - Define data requirements to build simulations; work with internal analytical teams or external organisations to collect the information required - Use computational chemistry software tools to design, build, test and implement simulations of food ingredient systems, or select and manage delivery through an external partner. - Validate simulations against experimental data from food ingredient p...
