Forklift and Baler/Bander Operator This is a combined role for starting up 3rd shift production on selected machines. The primary responsibility is to safely operate and care for the forklift, in addition to the baler and bander as necessary, to keep production running. DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES: - Work safely at all times, be aware of surroundings and understand and comply with Pratt Industries Safety rules, operating procedures, and help hold co-workers responsible for safety related items. - Follow at all times GMPs (Good Manufacturing Processes) - Learn and comply with Pratt Industries quality procedures and policies. - Responsible for housekeeping and cleaning of work areas – keep clean and free of tripping hazards during and at the end of shift. - Move different sized units and/or products from various sources to the next staging area. - Maintain accurate records as to the location of each unit moved for inventory accuracy. - Operate the baler to create neat bales with all unusable and corrugated scrap and maintain accurate bale reports. - Operate the bander and corresponding equipment to accurate wrap and band product with proper set up techniques. - Scan barcodes on all items...
