Job description

Position Summary: In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment and facilities. Work hours: 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, 4 days per week, rotating. One Week – Monday – Thursday and the next week Tuesday – Friday. On-call on a rotating basis about every 4-6 weeks from Tuesday morning to the following Tuesday morning. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Maintain industrial process equipment for safe and reliable operation. - Diagnose operating problems and carry out corrective actions. - Install functional parts in devices or equipment; repair and/or rebuild as necessary. - Remove defective parts by dismantling equipment using hoists, hand and power tools. - Repair or replace valves, gear boxes, agitators, pipe, steam traps, and pumps. - Build and install threaded pipe systems. - Carry out preventive and predictive tasks as instructed. - Install and align pumps, motors, agitators, and other shaft driven equipment. - Operate industrial powered vehicles such as a forklift, boom lift, and lull. - Perform all duties in accordance with all company safe work policies and practices. - Communicate and effectively interact with coworkers and management. - Other duties, a...
