Hours : Candidate will need to be flexible with shift, but mainly be able to work a M-F (12PM -10PM) shift. What you need to succeed as a Freight Operations Supervisor at XPO Minimum qualifications: - 2 years of related work experience in a warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation or similar environment - Knowledge of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules and regulations - Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends Preferred qualifications: About the Freight Operations Supervisor job - Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Distribution or Logistics, or 4 years of related work or military experience - 2 years of supervisory experience - LTL industry experience - Positive attitude with the ability to multitask and motivate your team - Exceptional leadership, communication, and administrative skills What you’ll do on a typical day: - Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations - Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet the evolving demands of the department - Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks - Supervise hourly staff across various oper...
