Job Summary: Provides primary or acute healthcare services for certain acute or chronic health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Job Description: Elmwood Primary Care is recruiting for an experienced, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join their team in Waterville, ME. If you have experience in primary care, enjoy variety, teamwork and have a passion for providing high quality, comprehensive and compassionate care, then this may be the role for you! In this unique role, you will enjoy daily variety by providing coverage for acute appointments (average of 8 patients per day), assist with task management for the physician team, and manage paperwork, refills, patient concerns and patient portal communications. Working a Monday - Friday schedule 8am-5pm, you will work closely with the practice medical staff, care management, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a licensed clinical social worker to provide team-based care.
