Line Inspector SUMMARY: This position has direct responsibility to ensure that all work activities under its span of control are performed with attention to the highest standards of food quality, safe processes, compliance with all appropriate legal requirements and a focus on continuous process improvement. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: - Continually enforce and verify food safety and sanitation policies throughout the plant - Listeria testing. - Instrument calibrations. - Monthly glass, brittle, and plastic inspection - Bi-weekly food safety observation - Retained samples collection - Raw material sampling - GMP audits - Team member training on various policies and procedures including GMPs, SOPs and HACCP. - In line product weight and temperature verification - Allergen testing - Translate company policies and procedures - Product evaluation - Per-operational inspection daily - Receiving/Shipping Observation Documentation verification, review and filing: PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
