Quality Technician - 1st Shift

Hours: 7:00am-3:30PM M-F Pay: $25.30 per hour and a $1000 90-day probation completion bonus. Reports to: This position reports to the plant Quality Supervisor and additional reporting to Quality Manager and Plant Manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work shift work. - Adhere to applicable health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations. - Understand and adhere to the requirements of the Business Management System and perform duties in a manner that supports the company’s Mission Statement. - Able to learn the list of competencies listed in the “Job Competency Check Sheet” for this position within the timeframe specified by the Quality Manager. - Perform inspection and tests precisely as described in the applicable procedures and work instructions. This includes proper and safe sample collection and their preparation. - Proper use and maintenance of lab instruments and test equipment including the verification their calibration status prior to use. - Accurately perform electronic data entry of test results. - Understand and interpret test and inspection results and communicate issues to management in a time manner. - Maintains a safe working environment, following all safe...
