Security Specialist The Opportunity: The Security Specialist is a key position responsible for assisting the Marine Corps Security Manager and Special Security Officer (SSO) with the execution and administration of the command security program. This role provides direct support to the Information, Personnel, and Physical Security programs (IPSP), with a primary focus on managing all personnel check-in and out processes, validating clearances, and ensuring the lifecycle management, security, and accountability of all classified material. The Security Specialist is essential for ensuring strict compliance with all DoD, DoN, and Marine Corps regulations. Performs a wide range of functions to ensure the protection of government sensitive and classified information. Applies advanced advisory skills and extensive technical expertise with full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction.
