Description Summary: The Warehouse Worker is responsible for managing the daily operations of a mid-size flooring warehouse. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly: Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required: - Picks and stages daily jobs; preparing materials for daily jobs; accepts and properly stores inventory, and labels inventory. - Ensures work orders, status updates, shipping/receiving confirmations, and material returns are entered into the company inventory system. - Monitors inventory to ensure accuracy at all times. - Processes freight trucks. - Conducts monthly inventory counts, identifies discrepancies and reconciles differences. - Organizes and maintains the cleanliness of the warehouse and facility, as well as the responsible outside area. - Performs other duties as assigned. - Education and Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
