Compensation Range: $36.50 - $38.00 Hourly Rate Job Description Summary: Perform rough and finish carpentry in the alteration and construction of buildings, cabinets, and specialty wood items. Consult with clients and contractors in a professional manner, assigning tasks, making sure carpentry jobs are completed in due time and ensure work is performed according to Swinerton standards. Discipline, mentor and monitor performance of employees. Support activities at all Swinerton job-sites as directed. Job Description: ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES: - Provide expertise in performing journeyman-level rough and finish carpentry duties - Review project plan and blueprints - Estimate time, material, equipment and supplies needed - Track production rates of self-perform - Develops work schedules and crew assignments - Enter daily time in Exaktime (Swinerton timekeeping system) for crew - Develop and manage JHA’s, ensure crews are working safely and properly trained - Maintains records of operations - Monitor inventories and request supplies and equipment - Ensure work areas are properly maintained - Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues - Consult wi...
