The opportunity: Seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team at Visy Board, Rukuhia, Hamilton. This is a permanent full- time position working dayshift, Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: - Operate in accordance with site safety standards and procedures, ensuring all codes of practices are followed. - Ensure all equipment and PME’s are checked daily, reporting any faults. - Pallet handling, including maintaining pallet supply, loading and unloading of pallets from production lines and transport provider. - Order picking, scanning, stacking, and staging of product for despatch. - Use of electronic inventory management tools such as scanners and tablets. - Isolate, label and report any defective product to supervisor, transfer to rework if required. - Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and HSE standards in accordance with company policy and procedures.
