Job description
Provides support for a wide variety of activities of human resources including employee relations, recruiting, ADP and licensing. The main responsibility of HR generalist is to advise managers, supervisors, or administrators in all HR practices, to provide information to employees about regulations, contract language, and policies, and to provide general support. - Responsible for processing employee corrective actions that are submitted to the HR office for approval. Coordinates all labor issues with existing labor contracts. This will include associated grievance proceedings, incident investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations when necessary. - Assist management on employee development and counseling issues. - Responsible for assisting in the coordination of the Unemployment Compensation program, which includes filing responses, participating in hearings and monitoring results. - Performs administrative tasks in support of the HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) group. - Suggests policy and procedure to improve data collection efficiency and data integrity, and maintains records to indicate trending of issues to support suggested policy and procedure. - Genera...
