According to established policies and procedures, performs a wide variety of tasks relative to the retrieval, processing, distribution, tracking and filing of imaging studies and reports. Assists physicians, technologists and patients with the creation of imaging studies onto CDs/DVDs and/or electronic image sharing of imaging studies between BID-Milton and outside facilities. This position involves significant contact with patients, physicians and other allied health professionals. Job Description: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepares CDs/DVDs when requested. Ensures appropriate patient identification labels are on disc and hands to patients upon request or mails when requested. - Retrieves and imports exams on electronic image sharing platforms (ex: Ambra, LifeIMAGE, Powershare) or on disc to process and upload into PACS for Radiologists and requesting providers according to established policies and procedures. - Requests and tracks imaging and reports from outside facilities to minimize delay in patient care. - Processes transfer of imaging studies to outside facili...
