University Events Catering Coordinator - Catering - ( 2602863 ) Description Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or GED., and one (1) year of previous related food service. Must also have a valid Texas driver's license and complete Safe Driving training. Preferred Qualifications: - Banquet experience. - Relevant experience working in a healthcare or academic setting. - Working knowledge of CaterTrax Job Summary: Manages, plans, and executes all catered events through the Department of University Events. Provide quality service in the preparation, set-up, and clean-up of catered events in accordance with department standards. These events will occur on all four UTMB campuses. Coordinates with all event hosts and staff, non-UTMB contract employees, contract kitchen staff, and University Events management to provide services to multiple locations on different campuses within the UTMB Health System. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to lead and motivate event teams and volunteers. Proven experience and ability in managing multiple projects and strong attention to detail.
