Laborer Foreman SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Laborer Foreman that will be responsible for coordinating crews, preparing, handling, and supplying materials to be used by other crafts. RESPONSIBILITIES: Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures Supervise and coordinate activities of laborers and their assigned roles Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules, using knowledge of equipment capacities and assigned personnel Study and analyze schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for job completion Analyze and resolve work problems: Maintain time records: Make cost estimates for contracts: Use logical step-by-step procedures in work; plan work and solve problems; make decisions based on measurable information; may operate machinery Provide work direction to laborer I, II, Journeyman, Apprentice, and Helpers Work according to standard, detailed instructions and established, well-defined procedures Determine work method from alternatives: Work under broad assignments: Effectively work and build rel...
