Description Ovid Napa Valley is seeking a Cellar Worker to join the production team. This role is integral to the daily execution of our winemaking program and supports a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to winegrowing. Summary: Working under limited supervision, the Cellar Worker is responsible for carrying out a wide range of cellar operations with precision and care. This position requires consistency, physical capability, and a strong sense of accountability in maintaining the quality and integrity of our wines. Responsibilities: This role may also include participation in vineyard activities and collaboration in training seasonal team members. - Perform all standard cellar operations, including racking, pumping, clarifying, and blending - Execute barrel work such as filling, stacking, washing, topping, and maintenance - Prepare, clean, and sanitize tanks, hoses, and all cellar and bottling equipment - Operate and maintain cellar equipment including pumps, presses, and filters - Support harvest activities including fruit processing, pump-overs, pressing, tank cleaning, and additions - Monitor fermentations and communicate any irregularities - Accurately document wine movement...
