POSITION SUMMARY: The Test Engineer will be responsible for carrying out duties within the test engineering department, including: test equipment set-up, performing tests as per given Test Request, analysing data and creating test reports. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The above is intended to describe the general content of and the requirements for the performance of this position. It is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities, or requirements. - Perform a range of component testing using our in house mechanical and servo hydraulic test machines. - Produce written reports - Perform DVP&R testing of components - Assemble prototype and low volume vehicles - Work on vehicles in a safe and unsupervised manner, supporting our vehicle ride and handling projects - Assemble, test and validate new R&D suspension dampers and mechatronic systems. - Low volume production damper and mechatronic system assembly - Test project management, to be able to take on tasks from beginning to end liaising with other departments for the completion of the project - Inspect assemblies and produce reports using Faro Arm CMM Perform other duties as assigned. - Be a st...
