Job description

Overview The Office of Inspector General (OIG) designs, develops, and implements systems and applications to support core mission functions of the agency, using government staff resources. These applications are running on Windows and Linux operating systems housed in a Nutanix platform. The OIG requires a qualified, full-time person with expertise and experience in IT network management to work 40 hours per week. This individual is capable of performing critical administrative operations as identified in the scope of work. This individual will be expected to work with OIG staff and contract support to analyze the existing OIG network environment and recommend a plan of action to address items identified in the scope of work. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers. - Manage and maintain IT security configurations and tools. - Manage and maintain virtual environment. - Assist with the management of the OIG’s O365 environment. - Assist with the planning and implementation of OIG Cloud environment. - Provide technical support to the Branch of Database Applications and Applications and Branch of Information Security staff as needed. - Pro...
