Description The Department of Radiology in the School of Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle is seeking applications for one full-time (100% FTE) faculty position in the Breast Imaging Section at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, without tenure (WOT) by reason of funding, commensurate with experience in clinical, research, and education domains. This position is expected to be on the physician-scientist pathway, although appointment on the clinician-educator pathway may be possible. The Breast Imaging Section is comprised of 11 clinical faculty, 1 research faculty, and 4 fellows. This position has an anticipated start date of February 1, 2026. Assistant Professors WOT are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Associate Professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
