Amentum is seeking an Operations Control Engineer to support the Space Force Range contract. Key Responsibilities: Lead the company mission and execution planning teams Collect and organize Range and Customer requirements and translate them into an executable operation plan Lead the development process for UDS (Universal Documentation System) Documentation (Operations Directives, Operations Directive Annexes, Operations Requirements Extracts, Operations Control Instructions), Instrumentation Coverage Plans, and Instrumentation Plans Prepare Range Countdowns and coordinate company input to SLD 45 Population Worksheet Prepare and present launch readiness briefings, schedules and supports operations, including test and evaluation of new and modified Range systems Assigned as either the Instrumentation Superintendent of Range Operations (ISRO), Lead Range Controller (LRC), or Technical Advisor (TA) to the SLD 45 Range Operations Commander (ROC) during pre-launch and launch operations While on console, provide direction to system controllers, manage execution of the Range Countdown, receive system status reports, determine instrumentation status, resolve status conflicts, and ensure Ins...
