Position: Art Instructor for 5th-12th Grades After School Where: IN PERSON at 610 W 112 th Street, New York, NY 10025 When: Weekly, October 2025 – May 2026 Time/Date: MONDAY, THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS 430-630- Part time hourly paid Hourly Rate $35 - $45: Liberty LEADS is seeking qualified art teachers to work with middle and high school groups to expose students to a range of styles and media and foster creative expression. Project based activities should build content knowledge while engaging students in a creative process that builds confidence as well as skill. Demonstrate through examples of different art forms and history how perceptions change when viewed through different media. Instructors must have experience engaging students in person or using Zoom if circumstances dictate changing from in person to online classes. Curriculums and daily lesson plans are required for review and approval. Weekly lesson plans must be submitted for review one week prior to class. During remote classes, instructors must appear on camera at all times and persuade students to communicate and participate in the same way.
