As a Regulated Heath Professional under the Regulated Health Professions Act, Pharmacy Technicians will provide services within their scope of practice in collaboration with and under the guidance of Registered Pharmacists. Duties: The following essential duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive: Qualifications: - All aspects of Pharmacy Technician tasks as defined in the NAPRA Standards Practice for Pharmacy Technician practice from the Ontario College of Pharmacists. - Understand and operate Meditech and Kroll Pharmacy software, Omnicell XT, OCRA, PacMed, and all systems supporting the dispensing and distribution function. - Participate in the distribution process and Pharmacy support responsibilities. - Participate in Medication Reconciliation Activities. - Packaging and delivery of pharmaceutical products to patient care units or other facilities as needed; may require lifting boxes of varying weights ranging from 1 – 20 lbs. - Packaging, preparation and ensuring shipment of products as required. - Communicate performance and quality standards expectations to fellow teammates (technicians and Pharma...
