Rivers Health is seeking a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer to perform the following duties: The Athletic Trainer attends scheduled practices and interscholastic athletic contests as scheduled and duly notified, prevention, treatment, rehabilitation/reconditioning of athletes and patients, documentation of injuries, status, and progress. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job. The incumbent may perform other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below; and specific functions may change from time to time. Secondary Schools: acute care treatments, follow-up treatment and rehabilitation as necessary for all injuries sustained by student athletes. when needed. being of student athletes. Medical Services are activated. after an injury (following a physician's authorization when needed). treatments rendered. per FERPA regulations. regulations. care when the Athletic Trainer deems a significant injury has occurred. equipment. implementation of conditioning programs.
