Position Summary: The Part-Time Judaic Studies Teacher fosters meaningful engagement with Jewish texts, values, and traditions in a thoughtful and supportive classroom environment. This role helps students develop skills in learning, discussion, and personal connection to Limudei Kodesh. Position Responsibilities: - Plan and teach engaging Judaic studies classes aligned with curriculum goals - Teach text skills (e.g., Chumash, Navi, or other subjects as assigned) with clarity and depth - Encourage thoughtful discussion and student participation - Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback - Create a respectful, structured classroom environment - Communicate with students, families, and colleagues as appropriate - Collaborate with faculty and participate in relevant school initiatives Experience & Educational Background: - Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred - Background in Judaic studies required - Teaching experience preferred, particularly at the high school level Skills & Competencies: - Strong text skills and the ability to teach them clearly - Ability to engage students with varying backgrounds and skill levels - Warm, respectful classroom pres...
