Resourcing Compliance SME Acting Up for 6 months: Grade D - £45,091 – £53,460 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: Job Purpose: To ensure Birmingham City Council’s resourcing activity is safe, legally compliant, and aligned with safeguarding and statutory requirements. Provide expert advice across but not limited to DBS, Right to Work (RTW), pre employment checks and any other resourcing compliance, while managing compliance risk and assurance activity. The role includes direct line management responsibility. Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensure safe and compliant resourcing in line with legal requirements for DBS, RTW, pre employment checks and any other compliance processes and procedures. - Collaborate with the resourcing team leadership team to plan team engagement and collaborative sessions addressing any compliance process gaps. - Act as the escalation point for all resourcing compliance risks. - Lead DBS compliance activity, including eligibility thresholds, monitoring, assessment, and audit. - Provide expe...
