The person appointed would be expected to: - To support the College SENCO to strategically lead the direction and development of support for Level 3 students with SEND and ensure they are supported to reach their full potential. - To support the work of the SENCO to raise standards of Level 3 student attainment and achievement. - To lead on the daily operational duties for the ALS team. - To liaise with external agencies to support students with SEND. - To deputise for the College SENCO when necessary. - To work with the College SENCO to support the re-integration of Level 3 students who are experiencing a period of school refusal or lesson avoidance.
