Position Title: ESOL Teacher Division: Learning, Performance, and Strategy Services/School Reports To: Principal or Designee: FLSA Status: Exempt: Salary Schedule: Teacher: Work Days: 190: Qualifications: - Provide appropriate instruction and educational services in ESOL to assigned students according to the guidelines of the program and through the established delivery model for service. - Seek opportunities for professional development and enrichment in the teaching and learning of second languages, particularly English as a Second Language. - Develop, implement, monitor, and assess the English Language Proficiency of each identified ELL and ELL-M student. - Maintain prompt and professional communication with parents in all aspects of their child's English Language Services. - Complete designated procedures for students referred for ESOL service and Title III services. - Compile, maintain, and submit all required records and paperwork by the required deadlines. - Serve as a resource and work collaboratively with the general education teachers who teach students with limited English proficiency. - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. - Hold or be eligible for a v...
