Job DetailsJob Location: Grand Rapids - Grand Rapids, MI 49505Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 HourlyJob Shift: 1st ShiftJob Title: Machine Operator – Preco and Punch Press Department: Manufacturing: Reports To: Production Lead: FLSA Status: Nonexempt: SUMMARY: Sets up and operate machines to produce acceptable product according to Mueller’s process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Accept materials for each assigned job, review and evaluate prior to beginning. Reads job specifications (job traveler) to determine machine adjustments, material requirements and to fully understand process prior to beginning each operation. Fills out sequence at every operation completed. Sets stop or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template. Positions work piece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade. Activate machine and obtain first run work piece, inspect part and verify dimensional tolerances before continuing to run.
