Description The Department of English at the University of New Haven invites applications for two full-time positions in Professional Writing. Both positions are for non-tenure-track lecturers who will teach 4/4 loads. The successful candidates will join an innovative department committed not only to providing its own majors/minors with excellent opportunities, but also to supporting professional programs and students across the university. The successful candidates will work with numerous groups of students in their professional writing courses, including English majors, English minors, Professional Writing minors, and many students from programs across the university. The University of New Haven is particularly well known for its professional programs in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, Engineering, Business, and Health Sciences. Our professional writing courses serve undergraduate and graduate students, as well as domestic and international students. Candidates must be dynamic teachers who relish working with a diverse student population and building relationships across disciplinary boundaries.
