Qualification Highlights Must be able to read blueprints, sketches, or building plans. Must have all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below). Must be able to meet all physical requirements. Must have Carpentry experience and experience working on an industrial construction project. Must be able and willing to follow all safety rules and regulations. Must have reliable transportation. Position Responsibilities: Oversee and lead a crew of 1-15 employees & Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required. Identify all tools required for tasks. Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks. Required Qualifications: Must have 5+ years working as a Journeyman carpenter on an industrial construction project. Must have 2+ years of experience working in a supervisory position Must be able to read blueprints, plans, and drawings proficiently to perform duties.
