Job description
As a Cost Controller, you'll develop, implement, and maintain the Project Baseline Budgets, including: the creation and upkeep of Control Account Plans; the responsibility for the Assignment Matrix; and the WBS Dictionary to ensure clarity of scope and ownership. Monitoring, controlling and validating project accruals and commitments, you will also maintain accurate resource and financial forecast data. You’ll also manage and control cost risk budgets and drawdowns, providing informed input into the broader risk management process. Reporting, metrics and variation analysis are all part of this position as well to support informed decision-making. Importantly, you'll measure the health of the program against the cost and project budgets. You will bring your tertiary qualification in either project management or a related field with your extensive recent experience in a similar environment and an understanding of contracting methodologies, past experience of cost estimating, cost engineering or project controls.
