Position Title: Casual Grounds Crew Department: Facilities Management Position Type: Casual Classification: UNIFOR, IA1 Salary Range: $19.39 Position Overview: StFX University is seeking dependable, hard-working applicants for Casual Grounds Crew positions within Facilities Management – Grounds & Transport. Successful candidates will support year-round grounds and landscape maintenance activities, contributing to the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of campus outdoor spaces. This role offers hands-on, physically active work in a team-oriented environment, with responsibilities that vary seasonally based on operational and weather-related needs. Salary is in accordance with the UNIFOR collective agreement. IA1 rate is $19.39/hour. Hours are variable and operationally driven, scheduled on an “as needed” basis (days, evenings, nights, and weekends).
