Responding to medical/health problems presented by patients including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referrals as appropriate; maintaining confidentiality and impartiality; promoting health education in conjunction with other health professionals; inclusive of taking night and weekend telephone calls shared with other staff clinicians, keeping up to date with medical developments, new drugs, treatments and medications. This involves the delivery of family-oriented medical care services within a Patient-Centered Medical Home Model.
