Material Handler - 3rd Shift Department: Shipping/Receiving: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Liberty, SC: Reporting To: Tim Hanna: Description: The Material Handler picks and processes customer orders and distribution center orders accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities: - Compiles, organizes, and prepares all orders as directed from the Shipping Supervisor - Operates a handheld scanner to scan barcodes and delivers materials to their target location - Operates forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipment - Responsible daily inspection of forklifts and performs on-spot checking - Maintains and organizes warehouse storage including pallet consolidation and cleanliness of aisles - Promotes a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
