Job description

Description Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Batching Supervisor is responsible for working with purchasing, filling drums, weighing materials, mixing/blending of materials, operation of process equipment, and overseeing others performing similar duties. Individual will maintain production records and ensure standard operating procedures are being followed. They will be required to comply with all regulatory, safety and environmental requirements. Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Maintain a neat and orderly work area • Performs other related duties as assigned - Responsible for mixing/blending of materials, paint matching, and operation of process equipment as needed and act as backup - Work with purchasing on placing orders for bulk chemicals - Procure batch tickets and divide work to operators - Tank Farm inventory every Monday - Work with planning and job board to coordinate schedule of work - Monitor the performance of plant equipment and process conditions utilizing various instruments, gauges and meters - As the senior member of the team, expected to identify and implement operational and safety improvements - Unloading of rail cars and tank wagons as needed and act as...
