IAM Engineering Manager

Job description

The Identity and Access Management Engineering Manager (IAM EM) is responsible for the IAM product engineering workforce and software product engineering practices in IAM domain. (S)he drives the digital transformation towards a product engineering organization. The EM is hierarchically responsible for multiple Engineers in one or more teams. (S)he is directly responsible for all the HR tasks and owns the WoW in cooperation with the other EMs. Responsibilities: Maintaining oversight of team composition, including gap analysis between required skill-levels and current qualifications. Ensures a good connection with the PM and EM and fosters good collaboration with other colleagues. Lead, coach, and develop employees by assessing qualifications and career ambitions. Act as a mentor, building an empowered team focused on delivery. Foster a culture of ownership and cooperation within the team. Leads engineers ensuring high availability with configuration management and effective incident management.
