Job Posting Title: Student Associate Hiring Department: Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences Position Open To: All Applicants Weekly Scheduled Hours: 30 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Earliest Start Date: Immediately Position Duration: Expected to Continue Until Aug 15, 2026 Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS Job Details: Purpose The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences needs a student associate to assist with every day office duties in the summer. Must be a University of Texas student and eligible for employment. Responsibilities: Refilling copier rooms in both Jackson School buildings. Driving vehicles to and from Fleet Services. Sorting incoming mail and packages. Answering the phone. Assisting visitors to the office with directions, answering questions, etc. Required Qualifications: Ability to collaborate with others and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively through email, phone and in-person. Computer literate. Experience managing digital documents within UT Box. Adept at multitasking.
