Senior Accounting Analyst Tax About the Role: In this role as Senior Accounting Analyst (Tax) you will: Key responsibilities - Perform monthly tax accounts reconciliations in BlackLine; ensure completeness, accuracy, and on-time completion. - Investigate and resolve reconciling items (unidentified postings, unknown payments or refunds recorded on the account or expected but missing, timing differences etc.); coordinate resolution with respective teams. - Prepare / post journal entries in SAP when required (corrections, reclasses, write offs), following approval workflows. - Maintain and monitor aging; ensure timely clearance of items and escalate breaches of thresholds/SLAs. - Ensure reconciliations meet internal control requirements (proper preparer/reviewer evidence, attachments, audit trail). - Support month-end close activities (tax balances validation, subledger/clearing account tie-outs where applicable). - Create and maintain SOPs/work instructions; train junior staff and support onboarding. - Identify root causes for recurring breaks and propose fixes (process changes, master data updates, BlackLine matching rules, SAP posting logic). - Produce basic KPIs (on-time rate, age...
