Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the future What to Expect: The Craft Co-op will generally occur over the summer beginning in June. The work schedule for the Co-op program is a minimum of 20 hours each week, up to 40 hours per week, 8-hour workdays, Monday – Friday, with no overtime. The duration of the position is approximately 10 weeks. The Co-ops will be classified as non-represented temporary employees and will be paid $17/hour. Co-ops will be assigned a mentor and will receive training, experience, and work responsibilities in their craft. Co-ops are expected to actively participate in their respective Craft team and participate in conversations and ask questions to develop personal learning and gain workplace experience. The Co-op helpers in the following crafts -Instrumentation, Electrician and Machinist will work independently and with other personnel to maintain and operate equipment and processes at the Sweeny Refinery. Some of the processes involved use hazardous and volatile materials under high temperature and pressure.
